System requirements
- Windows 10 (64-bit, version 1809 or later) or Windows 11
- 64-bit (x64) — there is no 32-bit or ARM build
- Installs for your user only — no administrator rights needed
- On the same local network as the printers you want to monitor
The first time you open it
The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows and your browser will warn that it comes from an unrecognised publisher. That is expected for a beta — here is how to get past it. The app still verifies its own updates with a signature and checksum (see below).
1. Your browser
Edge or Chrome may say the file “isn’t commonly downloaded” or could be dangerous. Open the downloads list, and choose Keep (in Chrome, click the ⋯ next to the file, then Keep).
2. Windows SmartScreen
When you run the installer, Windows may show a blue dialog:
Windows protected your PC
Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk.
Click More info, then click the Run anyway button that appears. (The publisher will show as Unknown publisher until we add a code-signing certificate.)
Verify your download (optional)
If you’d like to confirm the file is exactly what we published, check its SHA-256. In PowerShell, run:

What you’ll need
A free 3D Print Farm account — you create it the first time you open the app. You start on the Free plan for local printer monitoring and manual or CSV orders. Connected stores, automation and analytics come with the paid Hobby and Pro plans, which you can start any time from Account Billing.
This is a beta
3D Print Farm is early access and under active development, provided “as is”. Features may change and data may be reset. Please test with stores and printers you control.
