How account connections work

Where a provider offers official OAuth, users connect their own account through that provider’s consent screen. We design connections so that sensitive credentials never live in the desktop app.

How marketplace connections are designed

Marketplace integrations use the safest connection method each provider supports:

  • Users connect their own official accounts through OAuth, where the provider offers it.
  • Marketplace client secrets are held server-side only, never shipped in the desktop app.
  • The desktop app never asks users to paste marketplace client secrets.
  • OAuth authorisation callbacks are handled by our backend, not the desktop app.
  • Refresh tokens are held on our backend and encrypted at rest, not on the device.
  • The app requests the minimum access needed to import and track orders.

We do not publish specific API scopes, approval dates or partnership claims here, and we do not describe any provider as an “official partner” unless that is formally the case. Details for each provider are finalised during that provider’s review process. For integration or review questions, please see the contact page. You can also email contact@3dprint.land.

Integration questions

Which order sources are available in 3D Print Farm?

CSV import is available. Shopify, WooCommerce, eBay, Wix, Squarespace and SeekMake are in the beta app at different stages, while Etsy and TikTok Shop are in provider review. Etsy is not available to connect yet.

Which printer integrations are in the beta app?

The desktop printer area includes Bambu, PrusaLink, OctoPrint, Klipper/Moonraker, Creality Klipper machines and Elegoo support, with exact features depending on the printer and protocol.

Does 3D Print Farm claim official marketplace partnerships?

No. Provider names and logos are used to identify integrations. They do not mean endorsement, sponsorship or partnership unless that is formally stated.

Why are some integrations marked as in review?

Some marketplaces require developer review before an app can be connected by sellers. Those integrations stay marked as in review until the provider grants access.
