Who we are

3D Print Farm is a 3D Print Land product. It is provided by 3D Print Land Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 14790132. 3D Print Land Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Accounts and authentication

To use the synced features of 3D Print Farm you create an account with an email address and a password. We process your email address and authentication details to create and secure your account, sign you in, and send essential service messages (such as password resets). You can optionally turn on two-factor authentication (2FA); if you do, we store your authenticator enrolment and one-time recovery codes so we can verify your sign-ins. Authentication is provided by Supabase (see processors below).

Waitlist and beta signups

If you join our waitlist or request beta access, we process the email address you provide, and any details you choose to share about your setup (for example, which printers or marketplaces you use), so we can contact you about early access and understand who our early users are. When you join, we may send you a confirmation email and an internal notification to our team; these emails are sent through our email provider, Resend. You can ask us to remove you from the waitlist at any time.

Marketplace connections and OAuth

Marketplace integrations are live for some providers and in each provider’s review or development stage for others. You connect a store by authorising the connection through that provider’s official consent screen (for example TikTok Shop, Shopify or Wix). We request the minimum access needed to import and track your orders: a connection is limited to seller-authorised order data and does not edit listings, change prices, message buyers or fulfil orders on your behalf. The sensitive parts of a connection are handled by our backend, not the desktop app:

• Marketplace client secrets are held on our backend only, and are never shipped in the desktop app.
• The OAuth authorisation callback is received by our backend, which exchanges it for the provider’s access token (and, where the provider issues one, a refresh token).
• Those tokens are stored on our backend and encrypted at rest, not on your device.
• Some connections (such as TikTok Shop) receive new and updated orders through the provider’s webhooks; we verify each webhook’s signature before we process it.
• We request only the access needed to import and track your orders.

You can disconnect a marketplace account from the app. Disconnecting removes the stored token for that connection. You can also ask us to delete your account data by emailing contact@3dprint.land.

Order data from marketplaces

When you connect a marketplace or import a file, we process order information so you can manage production. This can include order references, line items and SKUs, quantities, personalisation text, due or ship-by dates, and a limited amount of buyer information (such as a buyer name) needed to fulfil the order. We aim to store the minimum necessary and do not use this data for advertising. Marketplace order data is used for the seller’s own production workflow inside 3D Print Farm. It is not sold or shared for marketing.

Printer metadata and local telemetry

The desktop app is designed to communicate with your printers over your local network. Live printer telemetry, including status, progress, temperatures and errors, is handled on your device and is not designed to round-trip through our cloud. Printer access codes are designed to be kept on your device (in your operating system’s secure credential store) and are not uploaded to us. Printer cameras and local printer status are viewed through the desktop app where the printer supports it. We may store non-sensitive printer metadata you add (such as a printer’s name, model and your notes) as part of your workspace so it can sync across your devices.

Billing and subscription data

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. We hold subscription information, such as your plan, status and billing period, so we can provide the service you have paid for. Stripe processes your payment data under its own terms and privacy policy.

Analytics and cookies

We keep analytics deliberately minimal. Essential storage is used to make the app and site work (for example, keeping you signed in). On our public website we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymous usage, such as which pages are visited and roughly where visitors arrive from, so we can improve the site. It runs only on the public website, never inside the app, and we never send it any marketplace, order, customer, account, or form data. Analytics load only after you accept analytics cookies in our cookie banner. Until then no analytics cookies are set, and you can change your choice at any time on our Cookie Notice. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not sell your data, and there is no cross-site tracking.

Inside your account and the desktop app we also record a small set of first-party product usage events to understand how the product is used and to improve it, for example that the app was opened, that onboarding was started, or that a store connection or printer setup succeeded or failed. These events are tied to your account and contain only low-cardinality technical detail such as the provider name, printer type, plan, app version and platform. They never include marketplace tokens, printer access codes, order or customer details, payment details, names, workspace names, IP addresses or the text of provider error messages. If you would like these usage events for your account deleted, contact support.

Third-party processors

We use a small number of reputable providers to run the service. These are likely to include:

• Vercel: hosting for our website and backend functions.
• Supabase: database, authentication and secure storage.
• Resend: sending transactional email such as waitlist confirmations and internal signup notifications.
• Stripe: subscription billing and payment processing.
• Marketplace / store providers you connect, such as Etsy, Shopify, eBay, WooCommerce, TikTok Shop, Amazon, Wix, Squarespace, Square, BigCommerce, Faire or Meta, which process the order data you authorise us to access.

Each processor handles data under its own terms and only to provide its service to us. This list will be kept up to date as the product develops.

How long we keep data

We keep personal data for as long as you have an account or an active enquiry with us, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting or dispute-resolution needs. You can export your data, and delete your account and associated data, yourself from your account settings (or by emailing us). Deletion runs after a short grace period during which you can cancel it, and is subject to any obligations we have to retain certain records.

International transfers

Some of our processors may store or process data outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as UK-recognised transfer mechanisms) so your data remains protected.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal data, including the rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email contact@3dprint.land. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Children

3D Print Farm is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product develops. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know.
