What it does today
- Multi-brand monitoring: Bambu Lab, PrusaLink, OctoPrint, Klipper/Moonraker, Creality and Elegoo
- Live status, temperatures, current job, progress and remaining time
- Model thumbnails and camera feeds where the printer/protocol supports them
- Pause, resume and stop for supported live jobs, with confirmation
- Printer telemetry stays on your local network — it is not proxied through our cloud
Plan availability
Up to 3 printers on Free, 10 on Hobby, 40 on Pro. Printer cameras and model previews are included from Hobby.
Limitations
- Monitoring runs while the desktop app is open
- Controls are limited to pause, resume and stop — the app does not start prints or upload files
- Cameras and thumbnails depend on the printer and protocol (see each printer integration page)
Local printer monitoring FAQs
Does printer monitoring use the cloud?
No. Monitoring runs between the Windows app and printers on your local network. Marketplace connections and order data use the online account service, but printer telemetry stays local.
Can I control printers from the app?
You can pause, resume and stop supported live jobs, with confirmation. Starting prints and uploading files happen in your slicer/printer, not in 3D Print Farm.
