How it connects
Scoped API key (prefix dpf_). Keys are shown once, hashed at rest, can be revoked at any time, and carry read or read/write scopes. The key can only reach its own workspace and its own custom-store orders — never marketplace credentials, printers or other stores.
How orders arrive
Your system calls the API to push orders in. Reads and updates are available too, and every create is idempotent.

- Order reference, line items (title, SKU, quantity)
- Order status you can read and update
Setup
- On Pro, open Account → API on the website and create a key
- Copy the key once (it is not shown again) and store it securely
- POST orders to /api/integrations/orders with an Idempotency-Key
- Read or amend orders by reference as needed
Plan and limitations
Pro, Enterprise and VIP. Not available on Free or Hobby.

- The API handles orders only — it cannot control printers by design
- The desktop app must be running to act on new orders locally
Custom Store API FAQs
What can a Custom Store API key access?
Only its own workspace and its own custom-store orders. A key cannot read marketplace credentials, control printers, or reach other stores. Keys are hashed at rest and shown only once.
Can the API control my printers?
No. Printer control is deliberately excluded from the API. It handles orders only; local printer monitoring and supported controls stay inside the desktop app on your network.
